CCI Changes & Updates

Post by hendeg » Wed Jun 18, 2014 1:27 pm

Stolen from SELOC - http://forums.seloc.org/viewthread.php?tid=388278

Good Afternoon,

First of all let me introduce my self, my name is Kevin Freeman and I am the New Business Manager for the CCI team.

I have been with the team now since November and since then have seen a lot of change when it comes to CCI, to explain a bit further, I am currently having regular talks with Aviva to expand our scheme which includes price changes & general condition changes to the scheme. I have met with Aviva now on a number of occasions and so far we have implemented the below changes for Lotus;

Lotus Elise: Drivers who are aged 30 & over will be accepted subject to underwriting criteria which can be explained before quoting.
Drivers who are under 30 can be referred to an authorise person (ME) This will be mainly for drivers who are 29 and turning 30 within the insurance period.

Speaking of Authorised persons, this has now been changed and gives us authority to override certain referral's without having to make you wait by phoning through to Aviva, this will mean a quicker service and hopefully no call backs!

As before for those who insure a Lotus with us have the benefit of 6 track days with us and can use 2 of these track days in Europe. (All 6 track days may be used in Europe if you book the track day through Lotus On Track)

I am currently on going talks about rate changes for Lotus, this will mean we can reduce our prices (Subject to minimum premiums) and potentially have the authority to apply a discount for Lotus customers. Lotus is a big part of our business and we are looking at ways to make our Lotus product better for everyone!

At present we have a team of 5 New Business Executives and this is going to be expanding as the business grows, renewals are also going through expansion to be able to give you the service you all deserve.

I want to assure you all that I am doing everything I can to make CCI a better place, the relationship between CCI & Aviva now is getting stronger every day and both CCI & Aviva want the scheme to grow.

I hope the above information may be of interest to you, I look forward to hearing from you all on the phones.

Contact details for CCI are as follows;

As the New Business Manager me & my Deputy check this inbox daily and distribute any quotes we have to the team,

P.s we are aiming to be at the Brands Hatch Event in August so we may well see some of you there!

Kind Regards,

Kevin Freeman

Dropped me like a hot potato last year without warning and was treated like a bad smell on the way out. Major customer services fail. Hope they've fixed more than just their supplier relationship. May go back in time but not just like that ...

Show's how much small print I read...didn't realise they could just cancel on me at any old time.

I've just had an excellent service from CCI and the premium is far cheaper than it was with 1answer.

I could've insured through Aviva even cheaper again but that doesn't include track days so with 6 trackdays CCI is far cheaper.

Very professional service. :thumbsup

I have always found them to be more expensive than REIS. May try them again with the new car but quite happy with the service I get from Mary and the team at REIS.

Likewise, would not like to lose Mary.

When I ended up with 11 points after buying N3 in 2007, there was no increase in Premium.

Car insurance is such a dark art. Been with CCI for years but each year I phone one other like REIS, Adrian Flux or similar as a comparison and no one ever gets close to the CCI price for me. Can be a pain booking the free track day insurance though. I'm sure once that call option is picked it must have a ring tone in the office that says ' low priority, answer if you are really bored'. Usually takes 3 or 4 attempts and hanging on for a good 15 mins before eventually answered.

Unfortunately I don't think REIS support us lowly VX owners.
I thought my CCI premium was ok, 500ish. Especially as I have barely used the stupid car!

REIS will insure virtually any sports type car, normally two seaters, but if it is a car used on track you should be OK.

I am sure they are reading...can they confirm?

Do they include trackdays?

Four track days per year, UK or Europe, excess 10% of car value.
