I've recently renewed with Henderson Taylor and got a nice surprise. They've changed underwriters so rather than the 6 track days they've covered in the past they can give you unlimited UK & European track days. Worked out cheaper than the other quotes I got too and also gives me an agreed value.

I think it'll be a different underwriter if you're getting business cover. Mine is only sd&p.

Henderson Taylor have just secured my business too.

Brilliant service.

And I also have unlimited Euro trackdays (albeit I can only realistically use 4 or 5 at a push...business is good, but not that good!!!)

Really impressed with the policy features, fairly specific to my needs:

Self & Lisa to drive
Some loading from a non-fault claim last summer, and a minor fault claim in 2012
Postcode helped a bit
Class 1 Business cover for me
Up to 9000 miles p.a.
Driving in Europe
Agreed value policy
£400 excess

£777

Tel 0800 917 2007

Ask for Matthew and mention Scottish Elises, or Lotus on Track if you belong to that one too.

Neil - thanks again for heads up. I owe you a pint, since CCI have still not come back...

:thumbsup You've got a better deal than me. I've only got 8000 miles and no business cover :(
You don't need to ask for Matthew as Henderson Taylor as is just Matthew

I've just renewed for another year and got a surprise when I read the small print. Track excess is now 10% of insured value except for November & December when it's 20%. Last time I'd checked it was 1.5k. Anyone else had this?

That'sis the same as REIS was/is. R8 at spas would have been £13k excess.

I will probably go with HT. The most hassle free set of questions from an insurance company in my life:

name, age, driving experience, accidents / points, few more. less than 5mins. painless.

also add to the HT plaudits

Moved from AA with unlimted track days etc. Although when I called to confirm it got capped at 6 days a year? Which to be fair is about all I do. However it was more than 50% of what the big brand folk we used before were.

Now need to get some pics / review for the agreed valutation. Never had that before so what is 'usually' required?

I originally just gave them a number but the blurb I got back when I took out the policy said you need 6 photos and a valuation. CMC or Murrays should be able to help you out with a valuation.
