Try Greenlight insurance. Beat all other quotes I got by several hundred pounds. They also replace mods like for like.

A lot depends on your age and postcode unfortunately - I would add Aon to the list. I don't have their number to hand, but someone will pop up with it in a moment.

You should (if you haven't done so) use confused.com (or one of the others if you can remember what they're called) to quickly survey 80% of the mainstream market - saves you a lot of time - I actually got a slightly lower quote than via Aon that way, *but* I haggled with Aon to match the quote.

For the elise almost everyone actually insures with Royal Sun Alliance I think, because I guess a lot of insurance companies aren't interested in the business. Unfortunately, as the bottom end pricing drops into a territory where it can be afforded by a lot more young men, the chances are the premiums will start to rise a little :-(

There are some advantages to being old (saga, anybody) :-)

Cheers,
Robin

I've been with insureyourmotor.com for the last few years and they've been ok. I think I can get cheaper elsewhere now though so will be shopping around when the time comes...

Its a bloody joke nowadays.

Just renewed Verians Audi TT with SAGA again, we have three cars with them, £30 increase to £393. Dont usually check around as nobody else would get close for the Elises, but this time I checked on Moneysupermarket.com. A load came out at under £300, and that is for everything, legal, NCB protection, car etc, so I picked out Norwich Union at £263.

Phoned SAGA to ask if they were taking the piss, she went away for a couple of minutes, then came back and said that they would match it. Told her what I thought of their customer loyalty attitude, but stayed with them and accepted a £130 refund.

Think I will let Verian send one of her special letters to them.
