s1 exige insurance

Post by deano15482 » Thu Aug 16, 2007 8:37 pm

just been searching for insurance, tried confused.com as a starting point

best quote i got was 1500 quid.

actually below what i was expecting

25yrs old
zero no claims
car parked on street
8k a year
6pts
license since 2006

i originally passed my test in 2004 but got 6pts in under 2 years...3 for speeding and 3 for dark window tints.
because i had been driving for less than 2 yrs they revoked my license...not a ban though....as i was able to go for my test straight away

so really i've been driving since 2004.. would this make any differnce if i explained to insurance co ?i.e....cheaper insurance

i've declared points already

cheers
Dean

Now get one bought!
Agreed!!
Once you are a wee bit older, got a garage, have less points and have more NCD then it goes down to 220 quid.

Mind you... it gets harder to got into it!!

£1500 - that's pretty decent given your "history"

And renmure - surely you're insurance is so cheap as a result of those massive "dogs" ( I think they're dogs - they look a bit like small horses) you guard the fleet with? and probably your age
