Have to agree with Si though.... I remember when a family of 4 got by with a fiesta or metro!! Now all my mates with kids seem to need a people carrier with roof box and trailer as soon as they have one wee sprog..... wtf is that all about!!!!

People think they *require* a trailerfull of sh*te when they've got a bairn. Walkers and 3 types of pram and a mobile changing station and enough toys to bury an elephant.

Materialistic 'keeping up with the Joneses' shyte......

I'm a relatively well adjusted adult, I didn't have horrendous illness when I was a child and my parents were skint & had a tenth of the sh*t that's considered 'essential' today.... Collective paranoia.

Interaction. That's what kids are after. Connection with their parents, not gaudy coloured pish.
