Anyone been over to xscape at braehead yet?
I'm keen to know what the snowdome is like but they also have a climbing wall and a fan drop, which looks like fun :D

Worry not the climbing wall is not on site!

They've got a Elise replica (sorry VX220), 111R, 360 and a Maser, a Cobra, F1 car, Mustang and Morgan in there presently. Not too mention the mighty AMP3 Smart Car!

See you then, and good luck with the new tyres :D

Also popped down with the wife, you were indeed busy with someone, so mosseyed on to speak to the Classic car guy - seems like a good idea, if you dont work and want to use the cars during the week!!!!!

El & I had a shnook about at this yesterday. The walls, drops & skywalk look a bit of an afterthought TBH. They are in the main concourse when you walk in. I think they are there more as a viewing attraction for punters and for first-timers to try. They would get boring pretty quickly though.

The Snowdome looks good - but fiercely expensive. On-peak it's £21 per hour, which seems mental to me....

Basically, the place is set out like a shopping mall - outdoor and cycle shops and a central plaza with eateries and bars. Would possibly be a good idea for a day out sorta thing - a climb to warm up then some skiing, dinner and then a movie in the in-house odeon. Would cost as much as a week in majorca though....
