Question about servicing costs...

Post by tadltd » Thu Sep 07, 2006 10:54 am

I wonder if you guys could tell me what MMC charge for servicing, for A, B and C services on Elise's and Exige/340R/Sport 190's.

Ta.

Varies between S1, S2 K series and S2 'yota Elises but somewhere in the region of £300-360 for an A service IIRC. No idea about the others.

I guess they might not want to give that information out to a 'competitor'??? :)

For each service think of an exorbitantly high figure, double it, then add a gratuitous wodge on top and you'll be about there :) :) :)

I called them; prices they gave for a 2002 111S:

A = £320.00
B = £485.00
C = £670.00 (inc. timing belt)

All prices include VAT.

Reason I ask is that we're thinking about offering an evening and weekend servicing facility at much better prices, which - we think - ties in better with owner's lifestyles (and wallets). It'll depend on the level of interest.
Best Regards,

Steve.

In my experience the quoted prices are the minimum; by the time a couple of 'extras' are added the figure tends to creep up!!

A wee bit of competition in the market would be most welcome! :)

Yeah prices seem lower, Last time I spoke to MMC about 6 months ago they told me it was

A type service costs £335
B type service costs £425
C type service costs £780 not including belts!
Service intervals run A, A, B, A, A, C
