Not likely that anyone would like a pax in shagged out S1 shed but if anyone is stood around doing nowt then the pax seat is always there.

Managed to get a half day, so I want to get involved in this.
Too scared to take the car on the track again though (only had 1 track session and ended up pointing the wrong way  ).

I've donated £50 hopefully for a few pax laps in anything going and for 2 at the bbq after.

A worthy cause - a colleague at work will be trekking to machu pichu at the beginning of Sep to raise money as her mum also suffers from MND.

:thumbsup

I have been given approval to pass the donation request around work using the internal mail from HR. I will also be offering PAX laps with me in the Lotus to anyone who makes a donation and can get to Knockhill for the charity day. There is probably a few hundred people now in the company, With a bit of luck I will get a decent response.

I'll be taking photos during the track day, and once again i'll be selling the high res images of drivers cars to them for minimum £5 donation to help with charity.

Last year a lot of people posted up that they wanted a pic of their car, yet never seemed interested, would be good to get a list again of people interested in a photo of themselves, then i can focus on the ones that will make the charity as much money.

KH have changed the times on us - due to testing for the race weekend there afterwards, we've been knocked forward an hour. :(

This means it's now 2pm-4pm.

Obviously, with there being testing straight after we finish, KH will be very trigger-happy on the chequered flag, so please, please, please everyone get there in plenty of time so we can get on track at 2PM sharp. :thumbsup

We also want to do some photos of the cars, so we'll make sure there is a specific area for us to congregate in once the session is over - if we all go there straight away, we can sort out some photographs and have the necessary chinwagging time. This may be a section of paddock 2, or it may be the gravel car park outside the main entrance, we'll confirm nearer the day.

Just want to thank you all for the incredible interest in this as well. There are a few spaces left, but it's now single numbers and I've got no worries that they will all go long before the day. So, if you're thinking about it, but you haven't pulled the pin, now is the time to do so. 8)

Hi Guys

Just a quick update and a big thanks!!!!

We're now just short of the £3k mark on track fees alone! (remember, even if you cant make it you can still donate  )

Also, one of my suppliers, a little Singaporian company called XMI, who make the magic Xmi Mini II speakers, have donated 300 sets! Now with a retail price of £19.99........... yup, £6k! We will be launching, PR releasing etc, the XMI mini II MND Scotland edition, of which all proceeds will go to the cause :D

Other prizes, food and drink stuffs (thanks Coffee Republic :thumbsup ) have been donated, and I will publish a list of all those involved at some stage.

I know other people are working on other prizes, fund raising etc, and just wanted to let you know the news to encourage, inspire and motivate you all.

And to think - we haven't even got to Knockhill yet :damnfunny

The http://www.elise135.com home page has now been updated with links to the just giving charity web page.

I've had a good response so far from the lads on the Eider with (if I remember correctly) £175 donated so far. And I have still to promote the link around the other officies.

Come on everyone, fingers out and raise some money.

As i never have a good photo of me taking photos,

i have a challenge,

anyone who is not on track and is snapping away (or those who are on track but are having a break) if you can try and get a good photo of me taking photos
i'll donate £10 to charity for a highres copy of the best one (double what i'll be selling track prints at)

You might want to change the times on the JustGiving site. Still says 3-5pm.
