Found a quick reply mod that works and it's now installed.
If you don't like it you can turn it off in your user control panel. The option is in Board preferences/Edit display options/Display quick reply panel at topic view.

Yep, quick reply function is good, browser going to the bottom of the page as soon as you open a post is not.

Doesn't do it for me in Firefox, but I see it does in Internet Explorer. If you don't like it you can switch it off in your user control panel.

I switched it off for this very reason.

doesn't work on subsilver2 (the colourblind friendly skin) it still has the PHPBB logo on it too

you can say that again niz...

i use that skin as well - although im not colourblind as being an electrician and colourblind is a lethal combination
