Big Boys Toys - Ocean Terminal Easter Weekend - Advanced MP3

Post by Andy G » Mon Apr 10, 2006 4:15 pm

Hi all - time to embrace the world of MP3 (or just come and check out the models we have to promote the products :D)

Just to let you know that this weekend (running Friday 14th-Monday 17th April) there's a big boys toys weekend at Ocean Terminal.

Advanced Mp3 Players (my company) will be showing off the latest in MP3 players etc, with various listening stations etc, we'll also be showing the new Sony HD TV due in a few months. On hand to run you through some of our products will be 7 models (easy Shug), in addition to my usual staff. :D

Shure earphones, Archos multimedia and Gear 4 will have demo teams on site. There will be listening stations from Creative, iRiver and Sony.

Hopefully we will be allowed to have access to the runway at the back of OT (during the Saturday and Sunday afternoons), and if this happens Dominic (of SE fame) will be showcasing his autotesting skills on a constructed course for some pax laps. (well worth it if you like j turns, handbrake turns, donuts etc!) To be confirmed!

On the Sunday OT allowing, we may also use the run way for a 111R vs Exige S drag race, as Graeme from Murray's will be down. Again TBC.

We will have an Exige as a static display in the mall, along with the mighty Smart Car, an F1 car and a Ferrari or 2.

Drop by and keep me company as I'm there all 4 days. Anyone coming down by Lotus, PM me and I'll try and get you in to the secure car park at the back if you want it.

Andy

I remember OT did this before, it was when my younger bro worked in Orange, think they had some classic cars there too? I remember there being a fair few good birds to look at. Which is the main thing.

Might pop along as I'm going to be in the burgh again next weekend.

I'm gonna pull out all the stops to try and get the Shugmobile running for this weekend (if Emerald ever answer me) and I'll pop over as a shakedown, if I do.

Give you a call anyway - might pop over in any case, as I've got Friday/Monday off ( ) and Elaine doesn't.......

I've just started climbing in Dundee at Avertical World. Got my final intro course on Friday then I'll join up. It's bloody hard work!

/thread drift

You guys don't know a chap called Robert McMurray from your climbing exploits do you? He's got an azure blue 111s (sure he bought it coz I got mine  ) who's off climbing every other weekend, normally to the alps for some ice-climbing iirc.

Always fancied it meself - you n shug pros or can you take a newbie along for sh!ts n giggles?
