Michael Hipperson (some of you may be familiar with him if you read SELOC or the like) is organising a run to Duns on 8th August for a visit to the Jim Clark Room and then somewhere local for a meal. About 12 guys are coming up from down south, so I thought it'd be a good idea to meet up with them.

One key attraction is that Cedric Seltzer (Jim Clark's mechanic from his time with Lotus and historic racing celeb) will be coming up with Michael and will be adding some colour to the museum visit and dinner with some of his stories of the Jim Clark years at Lotus.

Approached Michael and he'd be delighted if some SE members wished to join in.

To register interest, email Michael at michaelhipperson AT hotmail.com He's away for the weekend, but will get back to people next week. I assume he'd be keen for any suggestions of somewhere to eat (he says the ideal group would be about 20)

I'm probably going to go along, guessed there would be a few on the forum that feel the same. :thumbsup

Same day as the SIDC day (9.00- 01.00).. Would be well up for meeting up with the group after that, would make for a cracking day out.
