Lotus Breakfast Club

Post by ruadh08 » Tue Feb 22, 2011 1:20 pm

As some of you may know, LEGS (Lotus Enthusiasts Group Scotland) organised their first "breakfast club" meeting earlier this month at Powmill.

The idea is to meet up the first Sunday of each month, at a different venue, where we can have a blether over a bacon sarnie, and coffee. If people feel like it then they can go out for a run afterwards.

The next meeting is scheduled for Sunday 6th March between 10:00am and midday to which all SE'ers are invited and the venue will be at Gloadburn Farm Shop Cafe , Perthshire.

Gloagburn Farm, Tibbermore, Perth. PH1 1QL on Google Maps.

An area has been reserved in the conservatory overlooking the car park so we can admire the Plevora of Evora's, Elises', Elans, Esprits, Cateringvans, and any other exotica that hopefully will turn up.

(Peter, as you know there is a Heli landing pad there if you wanted to bring the Robinson instead of the R8!)

Thanks to Bingoking for setting the concept up, and promoting it over on the Lotus Forums.

If your interested in coming, either PM me, or reply to this, so that we can get a rough idea of numbers!

Hope to make it Paul.

Had a reminder from Brian as I am a member of the Lotus Forum after a run with them last year.

Have just been granted a pass, Paul, thanks for posting this, great idea.

Can't get a certain ZZ Top song out of my head now though

Might bring the family along too...are Skodas allowed or do you want us to park that around the corner, away from the Helicopters and Paras DropZone?!

Paul
Thanks for posting on SE, hopefully we can turn this event into the ACE meeting of the North!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make this one as I have a family birthday celebration in Nottingham.
Have a great time.

Hi Paul

Unfortunately we won't be able to make this one either as we'll be away celebrating Derek being another year older

Sound idea and would love to come along but out of the country for the weekend. Could make an exception if the lady with the legs in the logo were to make an appearance. Next time.

Guys/Gals,

Just a reminder that this is on on Sunday, at Gloagburn, from 10 till noon, and with the weather looking good, there should be a good turnout!

Hope to see as many as possible from SE!

See you then,

Paul

Team Ford, full complement, is still on course to join you all, albeit probably not in a Lotus :-(

Do they do high chairs (for me) ?

Nice day for the March Breakfast club, and a good turnout from both Scottish Elises and LEGS!

Next one is the first Sunday in April, at a venue still to be posted!

One after is hopefully at a special location in Edinburgh, this time on the second Sunday the 8th May.
