It was only a matter of time, they finally roped you in, that wedding must have got you hooked on the whole "commitment" thing.

Just as I give up my duties with Autotest Driver's Club, and Glasgow Uni Motor Sport club,... I get 'roped into' another club. Ho hum, someone needs to do it!

Looks like a fairly promising response so far. We'll need to start thinking about prizes at this rate...

Don't worry it's just your age, people shrink, it happened to my granny. We could maybe get you a box to stand on?
Or a cushion to go behind your back when you start having trouble reaching the pedals.

I have suggested having a class at their events for Lotuses (or elises / exiges). They have agreed to include such a class. This would allow us to run an SE championship, consisting of a couple of sprints, autotests and even a scatter rally. The purpose of this post is to get a feel for the demand for an SE chamionship, and get some feedback. Ta.

There is no reason why we could not have 'newcomers' etc... awards within the class too. Maybe even go as far as a se7ens' class..... maybe....
I would be very interested in this but I'm not sure about doing it in the Liz, I'd probably have to buy something else which might be a bit daft. I enjoy scatters too much, and the Liz really doesn't cut it, and TBH my pockets aren't deep enough to push my own boundaries in the Liz which I'd have to do to be even vaguely competitive. I always loved the idea of the SELOC BMW thing but I can't commit that sort of time either. Errm does anyone know of any jobs that pay 50% more than what I earn now for half the amount of work?

Given that we have now had 32 folk indicate that they would take part in some of the events, I think I'll see what we can get organized for this year, and set up a full championship for next year.
