Drove my first Defender at the weekend... interesting steering on the tarmac.
Ditched it for offroading though, as we'd something more effective.

Not had mine offroad in ages!! Maybe Andy (Smee) can find a friendly farmer with some local land????

Do you want to compete?
If so give me a shout and i can point you in the direction of a few clubs
And hopefully i can convince them using a Unimog isn't classed as cheating
Landrover 90 = Muddy shed spec
Fiat panda = Couldn't care less spec
Landrover ?? = Muddy shrek spec
Unimog 404S = Very slow silly offroader spec
Kubota F1900 = Snowplough spec

No looking to compete in anything agressive - Im actually trying to look after my landy these days - sick of changing the brakes after they sieze with repeated water/mud emmersion!

Although I do still enjoy the occasional forray into the woods
I enjoyed the Aboyne offroad day the other year
