I think a load of things have been improved on the handling side of the V8 Atom.Shug wrote:Clearly you've never driven an Atom - dramatic yes, but not quick in terms of laptimesMikie711 wrote:If your talking road legal cars then the new Atom V8, I think any of the hyper cars are physically to big.
I would hope so too. I had a go in a mate's series 1 Atom at Rockingham back in 2001 and it handled like donkey poo. Plus we needed to stop every 5 mins to either fill it with fuel (the fuel tank had no baffles and the pickup was in some crazy place that meant every time you turned left the engine was starved) or pick up some bit that had fallen off.Scotty C wrote:I think a load of things have been improved on the handling side of the V8 Atom.Shug wrote:Clearly you've never driven an Atom - dramatic yes, but not quick in terms of laptimesMikie711 wrote:If your talking road legal cars then the new Atom V8, I think any of the hyper cars are physically to big.

The Dax has had no engine developments at all over the winter.......it doesn't need to! There isn't much going to come near it this year apart from Trevor in his 'newly modified' R500. The 2 cars that used to beat the Dax are either retired or in Donalds case, moved into modified. (Just wait to see what Donald has been doing to the Evo over winter!)
Yes - my speed is directly related to talent too.mac wrote:

No, not the only one - the very first Lotus 7 built in 1957 in Chapman's home had a De Dion back end.craignicol wrote:Said Lotus 7 has a few secrets underneath its skin however.....its actually a Caterham chassis. Or its the only Lotus 7 to ever have a De Dion Rear beam.
