There's a bloke on GT3 forum competing in his 996RS; you have to use Toyo tyres?

Received some decals to put on the car. :D 8)

Just need to get the gearbox changed over, fix the brakes (I have a cracked disc), fit the fire extinguisher, move one of my harness mounting points then I should be ready. Not that I'm leaving it to the last minute or anything.

Well after getting yet more stickers for the car and some very mixed weather a great weekend was had. :D

Expectations were low, mid table would have been an achievement, 44 cars in club class.

A wet start for the warm up, not timed then a dry practice session where I managed a 1.21.627 which left me in 9th overall in club class. Hopes were high but thinking that others would improve. So finishing 12th in the qualifying with a 1.21.074 was excellent for me. :D

15 forced induction cars go into the final so just scraped into that and to my delight it started to snow heavily which left a very wet track.

Needed that to even out the power stakes. It worked well as I manged to finish 5th in the final. :D 8) Can't see that happening again but I'll take it when I can. :D

Videos to upload and more detail tomorrow, very tired now.

Congrats Donald. 1.21.6 is a very respectable dry time, but like you say, its the wet which separates the men from the boys, (or the ones that can drive from the ones that can build fast cars)
