Just paid KH £289 for my ARDS package.

I have to get a medical and then book my day at KH.

Really looking forward to going racing next year.

Just need to find a sponsor to help me out. :thumbsup

Best of luck Scotty. :thumbsup

If the ARDS course is anything like the BARS course it'll not be an issue.

P.S. Your car's colours remind me of a coffee shop I know.....

BARS was easy, sure ARDS will be straightforward

It's a doddle - just watch the video a few times and know your flags.

The rest is common sense for folk who have been around the track as long as you have.

Hardest part is not ragging the Cupra's - they don't want to know if your fast only that your safe so it's modulated braking, progressive throttle, clean lines (keeping off the kerb) and generally driving the way you would when the red flag comes out at a track day!

Good news Scotty, we need an S_E driver hopefully getting amongst the English talent.

Is your car already kitted out with approved roll bars, extinguishers, cut offs etc, or do you have to have anything fitted?

Do you have in print any mods that you can carry out on the car for the 2009 regs?

Not just the English, I will be doing the Lotus Cup Europe rounds so should be from all over. If things work out I will also do a couple of the LOT rounds as well.

I have to fit a fire extinguishers system and i will also be fitting the aero pack (I should be able to keep up with you down Duffus now :thumbsup ) Car has a cut off fitted already. I was looking at the full cage when I was down at Hethel but not sure as yet if its allowed.

A bonus is car will be weighed WITH driver so I can strip out a few things? :thumbsup Not sure what as yet?

Apart from that its ready to go.

Jolly good. Did not mention the European drivers, as after speaking to Paul, they would seem to be the least of your worries.

After DP I found that there were only three cars that I needed to double check my mirrors for, yourself, Andy and Craig, Walshy did not come into it, and at Abeyville there were none.

Hi mate

For Lotus Cup Europe, will you not need at least a National A licence?

Just curious as we needed that level for LOTRDC at Spa?

:thumbsup

Not according to Paul Golding. It was the first question I asked him when he asked me to race in the LCE.
