British Hillclimb - this weekend

Post by mac » Wed Jun 17, 2009 9:56 pm

Folks,

This weekend see the British Hillclimb championship come to Doune. Fd, Jonathan & myself will be out in the 7's as per usual.

On Sunday they are looking for some "club" cars to provide a static display in the adjoining paddock, in return you get better parking, half price entry and the possibility of a lunch time parade up the hill.

Doune hosts two rounds of the British Hillclimb championship, but this one is normally better attended by the big cars from down south, so why not come along!

Cheers

LOL, don't want your type cluttering up The Facility!

At the same time, Jedi Master Obi Wan Hoy would be proud of you so why not come on by, it's a while since there's been a bike in his garage I think. I'm on donuts etc I believe.

Really did not like Doune the first two times I did it, mainly because of East Brae where I went through the undergrowth rather than staying on the track, but once I got the knack of it it was great and really challenged you to keep your foot to the floor.

Bloody unforgiving though as the armco grooves on N1 proved.
