GUMSC Over and Under Nav Rally

Post by Gibbo » Thu Aug 06, 2009 4:08 pm

Hello motorsport enthusiasts!

GUMSC are planning to run the Over and Under navigation rally this year. The date is set for the 24th October with the starting venue being the Milton Viaduct.

The route will be run on OS map 64 covering round about 81 miles. The scruntineering will start at 18.00. There will be an update with the final instructions later next week.

If you need any more details, check the GUMSC forum at http://www.gumsc.net, email Fearghas Cook at fcook89@googlemail.com or gumsc@hotmail.com or alternatively phone him at 07850 687 166.

It would be great if you could all attend this event, the more entries, the better!

GUMSC PR Secretary

Glasgow Uni Motorsports Club - It's a nav rally they run every year. One of the things Dom would usually have posted about, but I don't think he's involved with them any more.

Sorry, I should have made it a bit more obvious what it was all about. And Dom still is involved with us, I've just been conscripted to do all the advertising stuff so he wouldn't have to :P

Right quick wee update to you all
1 its not on Map 64 its on map 70 and two your know you want to do
I've already put me car on the ditch going round the route so its a nice run
some nice twisty sections followed up with some foot planted straights

Come on what else would you want to do on a Sat night except hair it round the back roads(at the speed limit, of course), testing you and your navis skills

So if your interested please email on fcook89@googlemail.com

or jump onto the GUMSC forum and stick your name up. If you need a navi im sure we can sort one out or bring your own
