After chilling out on a sun lounger for a week thinking about this race, its finally come round.

Driving down tomorrow morning with a pax.

Really looking forward to it, should be a epic, shame Gav Kirby's car is not back from Lotus (he's getting THE BOX fitted). Hope to be at the front of the 2-11 group, but will have a hard time with Mark Fullerlove. I just hope the 2-11 has the top end speed to keep up with the modified boys and have some good racing.

Not sure, never done the full track, but I would think it would be.

Remember the "No Pax Sex Ban" the night before the race

Give 'em hell Scotty

Scotty will give the driver's perspective but in summary a good outcome for the Scots!

1st Race - Scotty Ist in 2-11 Class and Andy Dolan 1st in Production Class
2nd Race - Scotty 2nd in 2-11 Class and 3rd overall - a podium! Andy D was a non-starter - suspected problems - so conserving car for Production races tomorrow.

Scotty qualified 6th overall and finished 6th in he 1st race, his 2-11 competition having got into the gravel and he having had a spin, taking avoiding action with another car. Good move overtaking on the outside of Redgate though

In the 2nd race he was up to third by Redgate on the first lap but then had a titanic struggle with four others including 2 modified Exiges for 3rd - but having dropped to 6th got back to 3rd at the finish - great stuff.

Good racing in other classes too - Historic F2 - real race engines which hurt your eardrums! And a win for a Dicksons of Perth sponsored car - those Scots again.
