Nice write up of your Doune experience. I think you did really very well for your first time there - you obviously have 'no imagination'

The A8 times at Forrestburn were pretty good today. Alistair will have to be going good tomorrow to beat 54secs. I'll be happy to beat my PB - a lowly 57.88 set in my MX5 last year. My target time (based on how the VX compares to the MX5 times) is 54.36sec

See you in the morning......

Short one tonight.

I was well happy with my PB of 53.86 today

Until I found out Kevham did a 53.78

Alistair was flying, with a 53.2 on his first run before getting it slightly wrong on his second run. Less than a tenth of a second away from a trophy today

Think I'm doing pretty well in the Lowlands Newcomers, and hope I can get closer to Kev & Alistair at Kames at the end of July - I'm off to redo my kitchen between now and then though!

Jamie you did exceedingly well for your first time there. I know a very experienced guy with a very well specced Elise who did 53secs on List 1B tyres on a dry visit to Forrestburn a few years back. To get into the 53s on your first weekend is excellent. There' a lot to remember at Forrestburn - it's taken me a few visits to get it in my head. Don't forget that Alastair and I are on R888s - makes your times look even more remarkable. That and your Doune performance (I still can't get over that!) put you head and shoulders above me. Keep it up.

It's good to be in a competitive class for the first time in several years. Only a few tenths between us in a range of different cars. Great fun. :D

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

I never did update this after the end of last season

I picked up the Newcomer's award for the championship and Runner up in Class A8.

Nice wee display on the Sideboard

Not managed out much this year, with a nearly 1 year old daughter :D

I am going to make it to Doune, AMP3 trackday and Spa before the end of the year though :drive
