Just watched this with sound - That's the run where my car jumped out of gear on the X-over.....Lucky I never blew it up!

Only managed 92db on the noise test....(note to self: must try harder! :P)

It was Gordon Sinclairs brother in law, driving Gordons 2ltr Westfield, with a 59.59.

Class record is 52.26, held by Jonathan Rarity in his Caterham R500, made on 8 Oct 2006.

I'll get my coat....... :blackeye

We'll get some proper tyres for it which should help too, he was driving with almost completely worn out road tyres.

I think Alan is doing fantastic! I'm so proud of him. He's entered 3 events and won best in class in every one, and that's with a good cushion of 4-6 seconds in each event, even more so when our car has the smallest engine in the class. Not bad too for a man who exactly a year today almost died in my arms and wasn't sure if he'd ever move his right hand again.

WELL DONE ALAN!! :cheers

Jen
