Don't worry about weights, we can weigh you and the car on Friday afternoon or Saturday. You can then work out your class and if close, run the next one up or get a dyno run sorted out. I'm Chief Scrutineer for the event, so drop me a PM, or you'll find my mobile number on the Regs.

Mine is the original R500 with the 'grenade' K Series which only puts out 230bhp (quoted), soooTrackScotland wrote:Re: Weights and Power
Weight - if you best guess the cars weight + your weight that will do for the entry form. This can be checked FOC at Knockhill during scruitineering as Renny mentioned.
Power - For RWD power I would suggest taking 10-12% (feckit, 11% lol) off the flywheel figure. Easy-peasy if its a standard R500.
For book figures and a rough assumption that you are 85kg that would work out as
Weight: Car (506kg) + Driver (85kg) = 591kg
Power: Fly = 263bhp, aprox 235bhp at the wheels
PTW = 235/0.591 = 398bhp/ton
Oooooooff, right on the edge of Class A/B.
I'd opt for class A, but thats me. If you are lighter than 85kg it'll be A, if you are 110kg it'll be B
Try and get weighed with a small amount (2l or so) of fuel in the car.
