Great to watch but sad.
Three of them made F1 and the other a top Indy driver, sadly two of them now dead.

That was a great wee clip to watch.
I have a frustrating challenge with the youngest Miss DJ. I took her karting for the first time ever at Gladsmuir about a year ago. She took a friend but was in an open session with 4 other boys who had all karted before; only she and her friend were new. She won all her heats and came away with fastest lap for the session. She enjoyed it, but that's all. A few weeks ago she went to a karting birthday party with about a dozen boys and girls from her primary class. This was her second time karting and it was at the end of day and again she won all her races, fastest lap then guy said she actually had fastest lap of the day across all sessions inc adults. Being just over 7 stone probably helps a lot! Would love to get her more involved but she isn't really interested. Maybe I'm just an old dad wanting to live out my dream (and my own lack of talent) via my daughters potential!

I found the same with Luke when we were on holidays in Europe.
He dicked the family and the rest of the drivers on track, just seemed to sit upright as if he was an a computer game and hardly move, whereas I was driving it like an Elise. I was on a pro track this year in Thailand with Jamie, Ian, and Luke and the bugger lapped me.

Keep offering her the opportunities, Dickson, and just wait and see. As her mind matures things may change.
You could both join as members. James and I have done this at Xtreme (Newbridge & Falkirk). This makes it a kind of buddies activity rather than Dad sending son/daughter off to do something
That said, I was going to take him today but he's just had a meltdown and has been sin-binned. Karting summarily cancelled.
Kids eh.

Can you both get on track together? Raceland doesn't allow under 16s and adults on track at same time unless you book the track for exclusive use which makes it very pricey. Going together may spark her interest further. Might take a trip round the bypass if Xtreme allow that.

Wonder if Annabel is too young for karting yet...... 14 months old and counting
She did help steer the elise out of the garage at the weekend.
