Oh, and people always say that they are not being competitive, right up to the point when the time keeper says "3, 2, 1, Go!"

As my admirably understanding better half says. "It's survived 1 out of 4 events so far, you need to work on your ratio!" :blackeye

It's fairly consistent so not all bad. :)

I'm tempted. I will probably turn up, not sure about taking part, I have not a clue what is involved in an Autosolo. I may be quicker on a push bike!

: I've not done it before either. I did an untimed sprint that Kenny on here organised many years ago and I still think it was some of the most fun I've had in a Lotus. This looks pretty similar. :thumbsup

Quite a good wee video, but those routes are exactly the misinterpretation of "autosolo" that we are working hard to get away from. They routes in that video are far too tight, what we will be running will be more open and flowing with no need for handbrake turns... Although you can if you wish to.

Evoman, give it a go, great introduction to motorsports and will be a good laugh!

Quite fancy doing it myself, but pretty sure I'd get lost and look a plonker. I'll try and get down for a wee look see.

Kinger, stick an entry in, you will regret it if you don't :) The routes will be easy to follow, and numbered.

Dom, will there be the ability to fill empty slots on the day? Or is it strictly pre book only.

Dominic, what time does this event run from/to?

We may pop in past if in the area.

Is this a bit closer trackwise? Maybe without so much drifting though lol

There will be the possibility to turn up and enter on the day, however, the event is limited to 30 places and there are currently circa 25 expected, with a few more to come. So, I would not be confident in turning up and getting on. Best let them know in advance.

The event will be on from 10.00 till mid afternoon I would expect. Competitors will need to be there earlier for signing on, scrutineering and the drivers' briefing.
