I would suggest getting your entry in officially fairly quickly, there are limited spaces and it is looking to be quite popular. Use the link previously posted for the entry form. It is also worth using the email address that I posted to let them know your entry is coming.
Cheers

Yea Road legal but not necessarily standard. Sorry I can't do much about your Korean issue...istoo wrote:sounds right up my street! although my car does have harnesses fitted and a cone filter but other than that is totally standard.... does that mean i can't use my own car? i am in Korea on the 20th... arse...

Entries are coming in, so, you snooze you loose, need to be in it to win it, etc etc...
Just a wee note, you will need to be a member of a motorsport club in the Scottish Association of Car Clubs. If you are not, we will have some Scottish Sporting Car Club membership forms on the day. membership costs £10 IIRC for the year.

On the classes front, it does seem odd to group all sports cars together but have different classes for saloon cars?
Was also surprised that there wasn't a forced induction coefficient. Although maybe that has less affect on a small twisty course. Looking forward to this
EDIT: having thought about this, there's only 30 entrants . I guess if you split the field too much you'd have too few cars in each class.

Re: NEW Autosolo series, starting Knockhill 20/3/16
We are trying to keep things fairly simple. To some extent, the classes are fairly irrelevant; you will end up competing against everyone anyway. Chances are, you will find someone in a old mini / mx5 / whatever, who's times are very similar to your own, and have a good time sheet battle with them. The nature of the route is that the driver is the biggest factor in a good result. ... (I have a feeling I might live to regret that last comment) ...mostly....Ferg wrote:On the classes front, it does seem odd to group all sports cars together but have different classes for saloon cars?

Re: NEW Autosolo series, starting Knockhill 20/3/16
Just to be clear I'm not expecting to be even remotely competitive. I won't be doing any clutch dumping for a start. Simple classes is good.
As an aside, there seems to be no acknowledgement of applications?

They are apparently due to be publishing the entry list this evening. As I understand, it will be on Glenrothes car club website.Ferg wrote:Just to be clear I'm not expecting to be even remotely competitive. I won't be doing any clutch dumping for a start. Simple classes is good.
