dunno yet. Fan failed to come on after a 'spirited' session (yes, I left the engine on to try to aid cooling after) ... donned helmet for another blat only to be greeted by gasps and shocked pointing. After checking my flies were done, I looked to the rear to see clouds of steam coming out of the bonnet.

Coolant was literally p!ssing out of the expansion cap so I left it to cool down. Filled it with water, and it managed the 600-odd miles of the rest of the weekend without issue. Weird

Ahh... thats good to hear. The wife and I walked past it and she said "ooh.. that looks expensive". I took a lucky guess and said "I hope for his sake it's coming from the expansion tank".

1st time ever I've got something right. woohoo
