Friend Speeding

Post by EliseR » Tue Jun 19, 2007 11:53 pm

Rhetorical question. If a friend of mine speeding was speeding in his Focus on a sixty road - doing close to a ton....

And he went past a Police Van on the other side of the road which must have been doing 60 without its lights on, which didnt didn't turn around and seemed drove on whilst Friend sped past car at or around 100....

Would there be Potential problems? :)

Gary.

He went past a Police Van on the other side of the road which must have been doing 60. It didn't put lights on, it didn't turn around and seemed just to drive on. Friend sped past car at or around 100. Very dark and due to this never spotted van. I was dozing in the PAX seat.

Potential problems? :)

There's no way for them to determine an accurate speed if they were going the other way at speed.
