Any recommendations for delivery Cos that will be able to do wheels?
Cheers Jamie
Need to send a set of wheels - whos best?
Hmm - if your sig pic is anything to go by, you should consider replacing your balljoint plinth bolts ....
It's always going to be a lottery with the couriers, however I have sent and received wheels by TNT in the past with no problems. Also I have sent and received cylinder heads with ANC with no problems.
You need to stump up the insurance cost, which is as much as the shipping costs again usually. Assuming each wheel is worth no more than 250 quid I would guess 10/wheel and up to 500 then 20/wheel to ship them unless you or someone you know has a deal.
If the wheels are damaged you will get nothing unless they were shipped in a double skinned box (i.e. a box inside a box with bubble wrap/polystyrene chips between the two) - so pack them well!
Cheers,
Robin
