The trains to Queen Street don't stop at Edinburgh Park, which is just along from MMC, for QS the nearest station is in at Haymarket.

The train to Central station stops at Wester Hailes which is close(ish) to MMC.

22 bus goes via Haymarket. No point going to Waverly just to come back again.

Does this mean the car is being sold to MMC?

Think I'll get a taxi to Haymarket - if in doubt get a taxi.

It's going in for some work on the gammy door. And I refuse to deal with Glasgow MMC.

I usually just get on at Edinburgh Park (about 3 mins walk away), go back to Haymarket then grab a Queen Street train from Haymarket back to Glasgow.

They've given me a lift over to my office in Edinburgh before after dropping off the car, so I don't think they'll have a problem driving you to Haymarket. Just mention it to Bill or John.

Assuming it's still under warranty, why not just ask for a courtesy car? :scratch

It's probably out. I really struggle to arrange dates when putting the car into MMC as they only have one courtesy car available to Lotus owners (a Mazda 3 last time I was in) and it's always out.
