If you have a long tail roof can you convert it to a short tail on the Elise? Is it easy/how much etc etc..

Dont know why im asking as i have a short tail but curious........

Yes it can be done; I had someone who was interested in my S2 that was intending to get the bits from a breaker and do it had they bought my car.

It would be pretty pricey obviously given that the roofs are a few hundred notes. I didnt think the long tail was that bad to be honest, but I have not had a short roof car (yet :lol: )

I'm pro roof :D mainly because I have one, it's another option, my car is an everytday drive (exept ehrn it's in bits :( ) and it keeeps the misses happy

The "older" elises have long tail roofs... Each corner at the back came down further and pinned onto the top pannel (like what you see on S1's) The "newer models" like what you have is the same roof as the VX - shorter and easier to manage...
