Seems to be a 'reasonalbly' cheap upgrade, especially when you consider how much the 170 kit is! I know that getting it fitted will cost a bit too, but what do you guys reckon?

Edit: <wets pants> PTP 170 kit on SELC*CK for £1,200, rather than the £4k new!

Wait for Mac's reply, he has a PTP kit, a 170 IIRC.

Nope - only got the 165 :D

I'm actually toying with the idea of the 140kit for Mandy's - I thought it was a lot more expensive as did she (quote - I'm not paying that for only 20 more horses!)

165 is a great kit but makes the car a bit juddery on slow speed although this only seems to be a feature on S2's and not the S1s.

I'm not a big fan of more power for power's sake. I only upgraded the engine for the track, as I was getting close to what was the defined limit at the time for std power, of course Gordon has since turned up and smashed that school of thought to smitherens.

Personally I'd spend the cash on driver training and suspension mods or changing to the advans if not currently fitted. When you can keep up with Gordon then it's time for an engine upgrade :D

The PTP170 kit is good,as long as the second hand one on seloc is ok,ask why he is selling it,incase the head has went soft?
