What was May thinking... that shot of him in nothing but a 5 point harness will haunt me forever...

I have no signature.

Thought it was good start to the new series, the look on Mays face when he finally twigged why the Aston wasn't starting was priceless.

Someone should have taken the Aston off May and driven it properly! It would have been good to hear and see it being driven quickly.
Brilliant start!

The aston sounded far better in the tunnels.

Me too.
I'd sell my soul (and my body and the wife and any vital organs) to have a 997 GT3. (or the RS- I'm not fussy).

Here's another photo wiv Tony C and a random (

) from Lotus!
For those that don't know it, the "random (

) from Lotus!" in Del's picture is none other than Richard Rackham - the guy who conceived and designed the Elise Chassis (and again if you watch the video you'll see he was the first ever pax in the first ever run of the first ever Elise mule/prototype). All hail Richard Rackham!!
For anyone who has the Dangerous Book for Boys, look up the diagram on page 165. 2nd bottom in the first column is the flag of Calico Jack Rackham or go here if you don't have the book...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calico_Jack
In the 'Elise - The Inside Story' video Rackham reveals that he's a descendent from the illustrious Pirate and one of the female Pirates in his crew. Bizarre. Even more Bizarre is that Julian Thomson who designed the Elise claims in the same video to be descended from the King made famous in the musical "The King and I"...

Cheers,
Iain.

I managed to get a moment or two with Richard, Tony Shute (Project Manager) and Dave Minter, all on that trip.
[And Dave drove Lisa round KH in an early S1 Sport 190. She shrieked most of the way I gather.]
Never got any autographs though. Silly me. Too busy enjoying ourselves!
