I've got to say... that does look the biz. White is loooking nice on a lot of new metal these days (Golf, Leon, Exige etc). I went to look at Clio's when getting a new 'family car' and the Team R2blah blah that was out at the time just looked a bit strange to me (think you could get red or yellow).

I wish I'd held off for the right deal on a white Fiesta rather than getting blue... Ooh fck it, I want a white Exige...
I have no signature.

I think the white will go out of fashion as quickly as it came back in (apologies to any white car owners)

Loving that clio though, looks fun. As steve_weegie will agree if the new one is as quick as the old one, it`ll go not bad :D

The clio looks awesome.

I was toying with the idea of a white golf, but then got the chance of he red one I now have.

I too spotted the RenSport Clio on Pheads and was quite taken with it. Still miss my old 172 from time to time. Don't miss the brake downs though! GTi has some of the character of my old 172... just a bit more reliable

Hated the steering at first after my old 182 :x then did 20,000 miles in 3 different 197's and after that only noticed the steering was "lacking in feel" when parking :!:

Can I burst the bubble a little?

My wife has a Clio Trophy. It was off the road for a whole 8 months due to Renault incompetence.

Yes, that is correct, 8 whole months of driving a sh1**y Modus while the clio waited on a new wiring loom because it would not start.

Tried numerous dealers and they were all cretins, but Renault UK took the biccie for total retardedness in the extreme....

It jaded my whole view of the brand.

Bob.

I have a clio and I would rather pop out my eyes with a blunt pencil, than get another one.
