I'd like to echo Kens comments by adding, we all drive slightly different cars, and to varing standards. Some enjoy track days, some enjoy runs the most, some enjoy standing around a BBQ taking the p!ss out of each other. Some of us are into photography and some like to snap.
But we ALL take away memories from the year. I for one think that the SE Calendar should show that diversity.

I don't care what pics go up really, it just brightens my desk in here in the zoo!

There are lots of members with lots of awesome photos, but there can be only 12 in the final cut - please accept that there must be a decision made by someone!

Hi Guys,
I have been busy lately hence am a wee bit out of touch but was delighted to hear that one of my photos was chosen (Feb).
Thanks to all who voted.
The Pic was taken from what was a really excellent day out with Zippy and Rich Humble. A good story behind the photo chosen is that it was taken in Glen Lyon about 10 mins prior to us arriving at a Scout camp. Rich and Iain, along with myself had volunteered to give about 20 scouts a run in the elises between glen Lyon and Aberfeldy which really made their day too.

I think Simon's idea of choosing from the photos posted is the best way to go. That way we all get to see the good shots throughout the year rather than a flurry at submission time.

Think it's July but one of the 2 already has a pic in the calendar so I think the other one should get it.

Well you did ask...

After the Club Lotus show at Donnie in March, I was threading my way cross-country from the A1 to Cumbria to surprise Lisa who was staying with her folks whilst I was away...so naturally the roads over the Dales through Hawes area were in my sights

As I ascended the B6160 from Bolton Abbey, the sky started to look pretty black. I knew it was cold enough for wintry showers. Roof off, with maxsports on, I became a tad nervous. One major snow shower later, I stopped at Buckden (location of the pic) for some photos and to draw breath. The next stage, ascent and descent of the wee pass between Bucken and Aysgarth, was one of the scariest things I've done in the Elise ... 2nd only to descending the Lecht ski road over wind-blown snow, which resulted in a 90 degree slew into a drift! This time around though, I kept it pointing straight...and on semi-slicks...amazing

FF6 - Col d'izoard

My photo was taken while Jaci and I were waiting on Andy G, Brian and Tut to catch up. The RLC had a few problems ( think it was fuel or ECU)we spent about 10 minutes up there, totally amazing col, it was like being on the moon. more pics

The November shot was Gareth in his then newly acquired Exige coming out of the hairpin at Knockhill on a rather wet SIDC day. (if I remember correctly) Also the black S1 in the top of the shot is Greg giving chase

January. Just another day at knockhill. Dark skies, slippery track, the car looking a mess as usual. And me, trying to show off for the camera

May. Oulton Park, for my second event of the year with LOTRDC. This is me catching slower cars during the handicap race, before going on to finish 3rd overall. Having to fight my way through a gaggle of cars that are fighting with each other was interesting, so i outbraked the first car and went around the outside non the right hander, before splitting the next 2 cars on the next bend, and outdragging the final one up the hill. All good, close, clean racing.
