"Spotted at the Ring"

Post by rossybee » Sat Dec 01, 2007 10:52 pm

Lots of nice V8 noises (so get the sound up) from the usual suspects (& a tasty white Aston), but much disguised stuff too, such as BMW X6, Alfa 8C :love , Audi R8 V10, a very quick Merc SL, and what looks like a BMW 7 series but I reckon it's the new baby Roly-poly

It's a sh*t job, but someone has to do it

Especially when the guy next to you gets thrown the keys to the R8 or the 8C and you get thrown the keys to the Focus or the Astra

Excellent vid Shooomer 8)

Love the way the DTM pacecar sounds like a low-revving lump of Detroit pig-iron, and that the CSL is much more high-revving & urgent - both lush

The X-bow seems awfully heavy-looking - would be interesting to see one next to an Atom (surely its most direct competition) - I'd say the Atom will "look" much lighter IYSWIM

Atom WILL be much lighter - KTM quote 720kg unladen vs less than 600 for the Atom. Likely to be even heavier if you don't spec carbon for all the bodywork.

I think the X-bow is closer to the 2-11...
