Region 1 DVD's

Anyone know where I could buy Region 1 DVD's? US websites only seem to ship to US addresses

Take a look at http://www13.cd-wow.com/index_2.php I assume they deliver region 1 to the UK .

Fleabay would be my guess.... Another option is to re-encode a european dvd as region free, if you've got a DVD writer at home...

http://www.movietyme.com - been using them for more almost years, and they've consistently been both reliable and cheap. :)

Why would you want to buy region 1 DVd's ??

Even if they are a bit cheaper they are all in NTSC which is inly 480 lines instead of PAL which is 576 lines - mucho worse picture.

The difference is negligible, as DVD only has 500 lines.

R1 DVD's have always been the best ones to get as they are usually uncut, cheaper and out much much earlier.

There's less of a case for them now HDDVD is on the scene and region free though.
