Sounds interesting but what would it do to the weight distribution? how much heavier would the t series be than the k series??

its a good bit heavier - Jez from the LOTRDC fitted one in his Elise - think it was rumoured to have been almost 40-50kg's heavier :shock:

theres quite a few elises fitted with this engine as its a fairly straight forward swop and easy to get good power quite cheap aswell upto 300bhp

heres a 800 bhp t 16

Yup good power, but it's a lump of cast iron just where you don't want it. Would rather whack in an Audi - same weight gain for a much better engine/gearbox. Of course, then cost comes into it.
