Did anybody else notice the fake adverts on the TG BMW, apparently they couldn't put real sponsors on the car due to BBC rules so they came up with "larsons biscuits" and "Peniscole Oil"
In true Clarkson style when the doors were open all you could see was either "Arse" or P*nis"
Class!!

dont quote me on this, but the team of people that built the car were a bit rubbish, and Thorney motorsport were called in at the last minute to sort all the problems and keep it running until the end.
Thorney motorsport were involved in running the 3 VX220's that started the LOTRDC series this year.
Boring factual blethering over.

If you were watching you'd have heard Clarkson say all that

Great show

Could have probably done an hour long special on the Britcar race.

Frying pan and fire springs to mind! Thorney has a "variable" reputation in the VX community

Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.
....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

That's just the gamble when lapping slower cars. Lapping is a skill in itself, especially in endurance events.
You could argue that an experienced racer would have spotted the potential hazzard when approaching... likewise you could easily argue that Hammond has less ability than he would like to think.

I have no signature.

they really dont do themselves any favours. Dubious driving standards at the best of times, lots of powersliding around an empty airfield etc etc. On a race track they were 8 seconds a lap off the pace of a proper driver.
Saying that, they are bloody funny

How could they not have sponsorship when the BBC sports personality of the year was sponsored by Robinsons?

watched it and laughed at how totally gash they were! Hilarious juts how much quicker the Stig was - lack of thought, tactic and talent, apart from the Stig who showed just how good the car was without them behind the wheel.
Too have gone along to that not having done a lap of it before, like Hammond, reminded me of Donnington - not something I'd advise! And iwasn't needing to drive it at night!
Made for great viewing though - spent a bit of it wishing we'd had a TSE entrant - what do you reckon for 2008 Mckean?
