Also got a load of cheek from the sales man, needless to say I never bought a car from them.

Yep, similar experiences. I havent heard of a single person who has had a decent experience with Dicksons. They dont have a friign clue. The bull the bloke was spouting to me beggars belief. We took a look at Honda Element there. No centre console in it, even though it was in the showroom. Most of the cars I looked at were seriously looking worse for wear. I had a DC5 at the time and tried to spark up a conversation and he just walked off.

Was nice to drive and has some poke about it (even more once you chip them 250bhp and almost 500n/m) . I was not sure about the automatic/ triptronic box but its fairly smooth and has made me think twice about getting a manual. Handling was what you would expect for a M sport, but it was wet so didn’t really push it ;o)

Think I will keep looking for a higher miler one about the 10-12k.

Scotty if you do decide to go for a 330d i would try and find a 03 plate or newer as they came with the 204bhp (6 speed manual) engine compared to the 184bhp (5 speed manual) as found on the older cars especially if your thinking about chipping it. As for the gear box its got to be a manual IMO as you are unable to drift the car around your favorite local roundabout with a auto as it just changes up a gear

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).
