Protech Group Buy...

Post by DDtB » Fri Dec 14, 2007 8:49 pm

There's a bit of a group buy forming over on seloc at the moment... just in case anyone is looking for new shocks in the near-ish future...

Apparently if they get 20 sets, the price comes out at £446.50 plus p&p for full set of springs and dampers (inc VAT)

Simon A and Stu P are both running them at the moment.....

Cheers,

Dave.

If I was about to buy new shocks I'd be waiting until the new Nitron reds come out and see what the feedback on them is.

Who said I wanted new ones? :?

I think the protech ones are good but I've nothing to compare them to. The Nitrons will probably be better but they cost more (£600 apparently) and the existing Nitrons are probably even better but they're £1k+ so it's not like you can really compare them on price terms.

No idea if they're doing a version for the 111R btw, worth asking Geary on seloc though.

Edit: just posted asking on the thread on seloc.

Whatever the configuration of the reds is, it should be a bigger adjustable knurled wheel, and it does not look as if it is.

That photo is the prototype apparently so the production ones might be different.
