Managed to catch my knob on something when getting out of the car. Pulled the wire off and still not managed to get it reattatched yet. The.end of the zip snagged on something as well so it needs a new zip as well.

I've slashed jeans just under the right cheek, but that's because my sill protector is worn through to the plastic backing and that's cracked.

Spooky. I'm just reading this thread and the wife has come in with a pair of jeans she has just taken out the wash that have a rip in them under the right cheek.
Not sure if it was the elise or not, but why do these sort of things happen to one of your best pair and not any of the old ones you use for dossin' around ?

Wish that was my only problem getting in and out of an Elise with the roof on.

Does not happen very often, but it hurts.
