Post by Jamie84 » Thu Dec 27, 2007 4:25 pm

So I was up the toon hoping to get a few bargains for my holiday yesterday . I go to the bank for some cash and notice the pakistan guy in a wheel chair eating stuff from the bins, he was necking the remains of a kfc bucket to be precise. I felt so sorry for the poor chap and had some cash in hand so decided to give him a tenner . The GF then talked me round and gave me a 5er instead . So over I went and oferred him the 5er " here buddy get yourself somthin to eat"

The guy took the 5er , looked at me asthough I was fcuk stupid, stuck his middle finger up at me , put the 5er in his MOUTH , CHEWED it and SWALLOWED it !!!!!!!

not a word of a lie .....ungrateful barsteward .

A few years ago I was engaged to a girl who was close friends with a girl who was into some church homeless help thing, they ran a bus on a sat night at cadogen Sq (where the hookers are) in Glasgow, they gave out pret a mange and marks and sparks stuff. anyway the point of this story she said never give the homeless money as they spend it on special brew and smack give them food instead.

So after having left pizza hut with some leftover pizza that we didn't really want we came across a homeless man you know sitting outside a shop with a bit of card with homeless and hungry on it and a dog on a bit of string. she asks the bloke "do you want this pizza ?" they guy looked at her like she had actually said " do you want stabbed ?" :?

he replied genuinly terrified "no no no erm eh my mates just away getting the rolls in"

that was my first and last act of charity but just incase we put it in the bin next to him, he may just like his pizza with that bin flavour

You always get one :knob
I always give to someone who is homeless. I watched a program on tv, with someone going undercoverer , and trying their best to get them self sorted out. They could not manage to get a job, or a regular bed. Its not easy. It makes you think how lucky we all are !!!!!!

Mind you, he must have been so desperate to have a cold KFC, as they S***TE when they are hot.

Our friends used to own the corner shop at the bottom of Roseangle in Ddee beside the car park and rail bridge.
Kate, GB her used to give food to some of the homeless guys who lived under the arches of the Railway bridge. They would come in to the shop and buy there Brew. Some of the stories I could tell you wouldnt believe. But I witnessed with my own eyes one poor chap trying to buy a bottle of vodka with a tesco bag full of piss... I kid you not!

A few months ago there was a young girl begging in Rose Street Edinburgh. Quite unusual to see a young girl there. Was standing waiting for my wife to come out of M&S and an older woman walked over to her, offered her half of her sandwiches (from a pack) which she GLADLY took, and a piece of fruit. She was so grateful and polite.

Went over to her and gave her some money, clearly needed it. Made me feel like there is some that need to rely on help from others. :)

Nice to do a good deed, not your fault if its rejected.

last year I gave this guy 20 quid and 20quid worth of M&S vouchers .My GF said was always sitting at the same bit everyday and she was certain he was not a Junkie. It was absolutly freezing and the guy had a tracky top on . He was absolutly over the moon .

2 days later I seen him chewing his eyebrows and looking like death.!!

Certainly wasnt on M&S brand beer !

Auch well , Food it is from now on then . Perhaps a vindaloo , or a boiled egg madras. That will warms up the wee cnut arse alright.
