Andy, to be fair, the weathers been getting me down but you buying a dafter car in form of the Atom gave me some inspiration to keep the 7....which I was out in this morning...in the pissing rain...as always.
Just teasing you mate! Left the keys for my Merc in a club at the weekend and had to use the Atom to go to the gym at 6am on Monday morning - know where you are coming from, but then as Thinforth says there is something tremendous about using such a silly car in such silly weather! Liberating almost!

With you on the 135r comment totally - especially if you then make it Iddon spec
Buy thishttp://www.twenga.co.uk/offer/85111233.html

Anyone have any knowledge of that car?

I have sent the link to a mate who may be looking at a Lotus for next car.

They did two versions of the 160, I think a run of 50 to one spec, followed by the main run, so I presume that the original 50 would be the ones to go for.

The first 50 were SVA'd, had a GEMS ecu, Janspeed sports exhaust single filter and were only available in Scandal green or black. The production (WVTA) ones had an EFI ecu, a standard exhaust, two box induction/filter set-up and could be any colour.... think that was about it.

There was then two versions of the WVTA car, the Sport 160 and the 160 with 111s seats and no LSS. Mine being a Lotus owned car at new is a mongrel of everything > WVTA with the Janspeed and single box intake, LSS and 111s seats

2 x '96 S1's, twins, one spec take it or leave it, and join a long waiting list to get one.

I think it was 18 months when Graeme Lovie ordered his.

ps not strictly true. Leather seats were extra, as were driving lights and radio fitting kit.

I think the standard roof was vinyl, but has anyone ever seen one?
