Excellent. BTTC can be brilliant spectator sport - would be cool if the LOTRDC could be on the same bill!

Cheers,

If Paul Lutti thinks he is is good enough, I think we should nominate an SE team, cause there are quite a large number of Elise Hustlers, who are consistently quicker on track in identical cars.

Tut, Neil, Ali, Robin, Iain, Scotty, Kelvin, Malcolm to name but a few!!!

I am sure we could pick up an MG from somewhere for not a lot of money!!

Anyway, if thats not a good idea, I think putting a team together for the Britcar 24 hr would be a wheeze!!

Anyway Paul, we wish you the best of luck, just try to avoid leaving as much oil on the track on racedays. !!

Ian Forrest and I mulled over a series that would be a team of drivers by generation, ie one in their 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, but doubtful if we would reach the 70's, (well not for three years) so that would make five drivers, and I reckon SE could put out a competitive team.

Would certainly be good fun, and as it was five cars, it could cover five specs from standard to S/C Hondas/Audi.

Twill never happen of course, but now't wrong with daydreaming over Xmas Laphroaig.

ps I know it is vain, but whilst I still can, I would love to take on anyone in the world at my own age on the track, regardless of their background or experience.

I may get dicked, but they would have to work for it.

pss Talking of Ian, here he is with his Imp in 1976 when he was racing with Ricky Gauld in his Davarian Imp for the Championship.
