I'm looking for someone local ie scotland who can do porting and replacment valve work without being silly with the costs. :thumbsup Anyone to be recommended?

Don't know of anyone local, but Kiwi Rog at Sabre Heads knows his stuff. Did a head for me earlier this year, very impressed indeed.

A head is in transit and should be with Ali @ SLS this week.

Both Rog and Dave Andrews are busy with backlogs, so if you want your own head worked on, expect the car off the road for a couple of months. Dave keeps exchange heads - you would need to contact him to find out what stock he has. Rog works on the supplied head, but Ali has a couple of heads that get shuffled through Rog so that he can hopefully have one in stock as and when required.

There must be people more local, but these two know their stuff so if you can wait I would recommend either.
