Think you misread it. He only got 3 months which is probably what any normal punter would get

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

A normal punter would get more than a 3 month ban.
My mate got a £1000 fine and a 18 month ban for 113, that was about a year ago.
I got a 2 year ban and a £600 fine 4 years ago for for doing 123.
Fair enough the guy is most likely a highly skilled driver, that will be why he got a short ban.

and ?
If the goverment/law courts are going to spit out at that speed kills what difference does that make a blow out at that speed is likely to be a little bit on the major side regardless of how skilled you are. He got off lightly but at least he was prosicuted there is nothing worse than hypocracy, I wonder how many people he has stopped and how many lectures he has given to people regarding their speed?

Where was that? Up the high street?
You'd get less than that for drink driving

Probably the same inverted ATM that got me at my local M9 junction, so no sympathy from me. Sounds like if he'd just radioed in "Way aye Falkirk, PC Lightspeed here, just havin a canny thrash along yer M9 so that me tea's still hot when I get to me meht's Nursin Ome in Perthshire, ah reet?" then he'd be ah reet now, yah naw.
