Looks like the nice people at Hangar 111 have cracked the Lotus ECU and can do custom maps

Not sure if this offers that much over the Lotus Sport reflash (which I already have and up to now was a complete no-brainer if you have a NA Yota), but it is good to see that someone other than Lotus can reflash the ECU at last.

Could be tempted by that. £800 for a lower cam switch over seemed mad to me.
£400 for lower switchover and 11bhp, yes please.

I was thinking the same, but the ECU is tuned for a quicksilver manifold, sports cat and ITG induction. I don't think the choice of induction will make that much difference but the increase in torque across the rev range (the part that appeals to me) will probably not be realised unless you fit the quicksilver at £1,170.30
Add £468.83 (inc VAT) for the ECU and you're looking at £1,639.13 to see the same gains as the graph. If the ITG is also needed, then that's an extra £386.58, or £2025.71 all in for a modest gain

I am intriged by this. Seems load of aftermarket tuners have found it well nigh impossible to crack the encrypting of the ECU so they can map it themselves, so I am wondering if/how Ali has managed this
