Had a great time at Glenshee yesterday. 8) Pretty hard-packed in the morning but it soon softened up a wee bit although there were still quite a few patches of grass and ice to avoid. Found a really good red run with nice powdery snow away up the side opposite the ticket office.

The wind eased off in the afternoon and the sun was out most of the day. Amazing skiing weather for Scotland! Really enjoyed it and will definitely get back there before the season is out. Probably won't get the chance before I head off to the French Alps though ;) 8) . . . 2 weeks today! :D

Only thing that annoyed me was just how rubbish their button tows are. They go slack after the initial catapult, so you end up going faster than the tow. Myself and my friend Jo I was with are definitely not novices and we both came off the tow 2 or 3 times! I do not blame the skiers or boarders for coming off them - the tows are really bad. I've never been on a tow that goes slack! It shouldn't - that's the whole point of how they're supposed to work!

Bumped into Simon and his mrs :wave

I was at Glenshee today and there is now a lot less snow after overnight rain so there is lots of ice and patchy bits, still not too bad and plenty of fun to be had. We need more snow!!!!
