or was until someone tipped him offX7LDA wrote:Yup spot on... S2 K..
Emailed the guy to tell him what make it is as he isn't going to get anything close to what it is worth!
He emailed back saying he heard it was a Larini but didn't think it made a difference....![]()
So bargain for someone..
Sent from my ZX SPECTRUM +2A
To narrow this down further, it is a Larini for the 111S S2 as it has round tips instead of oval. Unless you modify/replace the rear grills.

Aye, cheers X7LDA. Been quietly watching this for the last few days !BiggestNizzy wrote:or was until someone tipped him offX7LDA wrote:Yup spot on... S2 K..

I would worry more about this bit
Good buy if cheap enough though.
as I remember reading that a lot of people had fit problems with the S2 Larini when it was new, never mind after a smash!FROM A CAR THAT HAD A REAR END SHUNT
SMALL DENT TO ONE OF THE BOXES AND VERY SLIGHTLY BENT SO WILL REQUIRE MINOR TWEEKING WHEN BEING FITTED
BUT FULLY WORKING AND READY TO ROAR
Good buy if cheap enough though.
haha - don't worry about it. It's ebay - available to all ! Ended up going for a ridiculous price for a damaged exhaust - £160 or + p&p ....to Italy !X7LDA wrote:Sorry
He did say that he wasn't changing price etc..
Round tips fit either standard or 111s grills so no need for any modifications
You sure about the round tips thing ? I heard differently. Also understood that was why Larini make both the sport and club sport with the option of round or oval, otherwise why bother ?
Think I read you recently added a Larini to your car. Did you do a mis-match and that's how you know - i.e oval tips on a 111s ?

No I went other way - round tips on standard grills - too much room left if anything.
But the reason I know is I had ovals on before and I asked Ali if it was possible to fit the 111s grills with the oval tips (as I never thought there would be enough room and at the time I pref the oval tips) and he said yes!
Think they just make the different shapes cos people like different looks - no other real reason!
